Email Pastor Roland
ROLAND TEDDER - Lead Pastor
The Tedders live on the east side of Las Vegas with their dog Taji. Roland and Ashley met in grad school at Nazarene Theological Seminary in Kansas City, MO. They were married in 2013 at Kansas City First Church of the Nazarene where Roland served as Youth Pastor from 2012-2018. Roland also served as the District Youth Pastor for the KC District in the Church of the Nazarene for part of that time. Prior to coming to LVCN, Roland served as Lead Pastor of BreakPointe Community Church in Overland Park, KS.
The Tedders welcomed their beautiful daughter Enloe into the world in 2018, and handsome son Theo in 2021. The kids are fantastic friends and love to play, laugh and cuddle.
Ashley worked for Johnson County Mental Health for 10 years prior to moving to Vegas where she’s been a stay-at-home mom. She uses the many gifts and talents she has in the life of LVCN to help us think strategically, be outwardly focused and led a nursery renovation at the church.
Roland loves to see people move in the direction of Jesus through discipleship and loving their neighbor. Roland has a BA in Christian Ministry from Northwest Nazarene University and a Master of Divinity from Nazarene Theological Seminary. Roland was ordained on the Kansas City District of the Church of the Nazarene in 2014. He’s been in some sort of ministry role for almost twenty years.
Roland loves to spend time with his family and enjoys traveling (often to visit family in the land of his birth - South Africa), hiking, rugby, running, the KC Chiefs, disc golf and coffee.
His favorite thing to do in Vegas is hike or try a new restaurant.

VICKI VAQUERO - Worship Pastor
When did you start serving at LVCN? 1999 as volunteer Worship Leader and 2005 hire date as Worship Pastor (Ordained in the Church of the Nazarene in 2014)
What is your favorite part about ministry? Leading people to the throne room of God and coming together as a worship team as a united front for God with the gift of music
What are your Hobbies? Water color painting; cooking
Tell us about your family: I am married to my amazing husband, Carlos Vaquero who loves Jesus and serves Him and the church well. We have two grown children, Chris Vaquero (Carlina), and Lexi Cosgrove (Ryan) who are married to wonderful spouses, and who have given us beautiful grandchildren. They all love and serve Jesus and it’s such a blessing to see this in action.
What’s your favorite thing to do in Vegas? Spend time at Mt. Charleston and eat at all the fun restaurants here in town

LYNN WEAVER- Associate Pastor
Pastor Lynn Weaver has had many experiences in her walk with the Lord Jesus Christ from the time of her conversion at the age of 33. For many years she was instrumental in leading many individuals out of a well-known cult into faith in Christ, also conducting seminars and giving radio and TV interviews on the subject.
She served as the Worship Leader at a large non-denominational church for 7 years. She has also gone on several short term mission trips to the Philippines, Tonga, New Zealand and South Africa.
Lynn directed the Passion Play of Las Vegas for eleven years. Eight of those years performing at the Riviera Hotel on the Las Vegas Strip. She was a Chaplain at UMC Hospital for two years, and volunteered for five years at the Women’s Resource Medical Center, where she counseled women in crisis pregnancies.
Lynn has traveled to Turkey and Israel three times on Bible Study tours, leading the last trip to Israel. She was ordained in the Nazarene Church as an Elder in July, 2019. She came on staff at LVCN in 2014 and has taught an adult Sunday School class since 2009. She also teaches a mid week adult class. Lynn has been teaching the Bible in various types of classes since 1985. Currently, she is also a Hospice Chaplain in the Southern Nevada area.

Dr. ROBERT ZANGGER - Associate Pastor
Pastor Bob has been a part of LVCN since 1975 when he first served as a youth pastor for 6 months. Since then he’s been around LVCN with a couple of breaks while pastoring/interim pastoring other local Nazarene churches.
In the past his favorite part of ministry has been teaching Modular Training classes for prospective ministers and interested laity, which he participated in several forms for about 30 years.
His number 1 hobby is reading and has often been accused of being a “bookaholic.”
Bob is married to Shirley for almost 50 years. This is a second marriage for both of them and between the two, they have 8 children. Plus Shirley claims nieces and nephews she helped raise! The extended family is spread over Southern California, Nevada, Idaho, and Texas.
Pastor Bob’s favorite thing to do in Las Vegas is to enjoy NOT having to shovel snow.

THAD FRANKLIN - Associate Pastor
Pastor Thad Franklin has served on staff as an Associate Pastor at LVCN since 2018. Thad works as a bi-vocational pastor, for his day job he’s a field technician for Farmers Brothers, which means he helps fuel the Las Vegas valley going by keeping coffee machines up and running!
He considers it a privilege to be able to minister to God’s people here at LVCN. Pastor Thad is a bit of a “Swiss army knife” when it comes to ministry. He teaches a weekly Sunday School class, regularly serves as a sound tech, and is always happy to step in wherever needed. In addition to his ministries at the church, being bi-vocational means that he gets to have opportunities to share Jesus with those he meets and invite them to church!
Thad has been married to his high school sweetheart, Nikki for 30 years! It’s been a true blessing and the couple look forward to many more years. Together they have two beautiful kids, daughter, Cherie, and son, Noah. They both love Jesus and serve Him in ministry here at LVCN.
Thad loves to mountain bike and amongst his favorite thing to do in the Las Vegas valley is to explore and enjoy the great outdoors!

NIKKI FRANKLIN- Office Secretary
Nikki has had the privilege of working as the Office Secretary since August 2012. She considers her work to be a blessing to both her and her family.
Nikki’s favorite part about being in ministry at Las Vegas Church of the Nazarene is that she has the opportunity to be used by God in different capacities; whether it’s sharing His love, or being His light, it always leads to being used for His glory!
She’s been married to her amazing husband, Pastor Thad, who also serves as an Associate Pastor here at LVCN. Together they have two awesome children, Cherie and Noah.
Nikki’s loves her church family, and loves her family, especially raising her kids! One of their favorite things to do as a family in Las Vegas is to EAT! There are so many different options to choose from throughout Las Vegas, finding a new place to eat is always fun!

AUTUMN LAMAR - Administrative Assistant
Autumn Lamar is the Administrative Assistant at LVCN.
She began serving on staff in 2011, and her favorite part about ministering as a staff member is how it allows her to know her church family! Autumn has been married to her husband, Rob, for over 20 years. Together they have four adult children, and one teenage daughter still living at home.
Autumn and Rob love traveling to see family and friends and especially their young grandchildren!
One of their favorite things to do as a family in Las Vegas is try out all the different places to eat!
Autumn loves serving with her family in some of the many different ministries at LVCN. She loves that LVCN has been her church home for her entire life!

JOSHUA NEEDY - Youth Director
Josh has been a member and actively serving at LVCN for over two decades, but just recently moved into the role as the Youth Director at the end of 2022.
Josh is passionate about working with students and building them up, whether it’s knowledge, personal growth, or spiritual maturity. In addition to working with and building up students, Josh loves to see them know and grow in their relationship with Jesus!
In his spare time, Josh likes to watch sports, play music, and get out into the beautiful Las Vegas valley to work on his hobbies of photography and videography. And of course, he loves to spend time with his family, wife Misty Jo, daughters, Nielyn and Kayzden, and son, Decklin.
