Ash Wednesday begins the season of Lent, a time when Christians around the world prepare for Easter by observing a period of fasting, repentance, moderation and spiritual disciplines. Ash Wednesday emphasizes two themes: our sinfulness before God and our human mortality. Our service will focus on both themes, helping us realize that both have been triumphed through the death and resurrection of Jesus! Please plan on attending our Ash Wednesday service on Wednesday, February 18, at 6:30 PM. If you are not able to join us for service you can watch it on our LVCN YouTube Channel live stream starting at 6:25 PM, and if you would like our pastors to impose the ashes outside of the service time, please stop by the Church Office on Ash Wednesday during the hours of 9:00 AM and 2:00 PM.
